Since The Nyack Library was established in 1879 it has been committed to serving its ever growing public and providing a source of inspiration and information. A far cry from the original 1879 storefront, by 2008, The Nyack Library was visited by more than 260,000 of its community members. 

Please consider an online donation to support the expansion and renovation of The Nyack Library. Donations are tax-deductable, and can be made below through the secure services of PayPal, using your existing PayPal account or any major credit card.

The Nyack Library would like to recognize all those contributing to this project.

  • All donations of $1000 or more will be recognized on a Donor Plaque.
  • Donors contributing up to $1000 ($999 or less) will be recognized in a Donor Book.

To meet the needs beyond the bonded portion of the project, The Nyack Library is seeking to raise $500,000.

The Library’s fundraising objectives are:

  • Restoration of the Carnegie Room
  • Installation of a state-of-the-art circulation system with self- checkout and related security protection
  • Establishment of a computer classroom with additional computers for public use and furnishings
  • New furnishings throughout the Library
  • Enhancement of programs and services offered by The Nyack Library
